GK Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award



In 2012, TheATLAS established the George Kozmetsky Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award to be awarded annually during the TheATLAS International conferences. This award is given in recognition of leadership and achievement in innovation and entrepreneurship, with demonstrated entrepreneurial attributes that make them role models for emerging entrepreneurs.

Requirements

Requirement #1
This award is given to individuals and small businesses in the consumer technology industry demonstrate innovation, dedication to the industry, community outreach and the tenacity to persevere through business and economic challenges.
Requirement #2
More than 25 years of distinguished accomplishments in business.
Requirement #3
This award will normally be presented to one person each year. 

 

K-T Li Memorial Medal Award


The Kwoh-Ting Li Memorial Medal Award was established in 2012 as a special honor to the distinguished lecturer of the Kwoh-Ting Li Memorial lecture. Dr. Kwoh-Ting Li (1909-2001), a government official of the Republic of China, advisor to presidents and is credited with sheparding Taiwan from an economy reliant on light industry to high technology.

Basarab Nicolescu TD Science & Engineering Award 


In November 2013, TheATLAS established the Basarab Nicolescu Transdisciplinary Science & Engineering Award to be awarded annually during the TheATLAS annual meeting. This award is given in recognition of outstanding achievement in transdisciplinary research or education as evidenced by use of transdisciplinary skills in solving unstructured societal problems and outstanding leadership in transdisciplinary education and its activities.
